As the sun sets, slowly in the sky
So ends another chapter, in this life of mine
Another set of tears
That have trailed down my cheeks
Another time, those three words
I have failed to speak
Another set of footprints
I left on the road
I came, I saw
I went, I walked
And now it's getting cold
Another season fading
As fast as leaves can fall
Another day of playing
And keeping up my walls
Another end
Another beginning
Where one starts
The other ends
Another day of wasting time
And searching for my friends
Another day
It's come and gone
The closing of the chapter
Not better, not worse
But such is life
I just hope when the book ends...
It's happily ever after

Aw Nikki, I absolutely love this!!! This is a wonderful shot. I love sunsets and I like how the trees kind of frame the sun. The poem is very fitting, for the day...for life. It can be viewed quite depressing or a way of renewal. Athough we must loose somethings to make way for newer better things. Although hard to see that at the time. Sometomes just feels like loosing friends and everything that means something. But it does make way for new and better, just as sunsets make way for a new day to start fresh. I love this piece!!!!
